If you’re hooking up a subwoofer, you need this cable. Yeah, you could just grab a regular two-wire RCA and split it, but that’s always felt a little half-baked to me. I’d rather have a cable that’s made specifically for subs. This one is what I’d call “premium,” which really just means it’s got solid terminations and a nice-looking cable shroud.
