EGO Nexus Portable Power Station

The portable power station from EGO is insane. I used it at my son’s football game, where I had two fans plugged into it to stay cool; this freaking thing worked like a charm. 

For all of us garage guys, skies the limit with what we can do with this thing. I can certainly see many of us using this to charge our electronic devices, charge our Milwaukee batteries, run a portable fan if we’re working outdoors, or even as a backup power solution in case the electricity goes out. I don’t know about you, but I’d want to keep working if my power went out. 

This power station has 3000 watts of peak power and 2000 watts of continuous power. That’s a lot. It’s super quiet for indoor and outdoor use. It comes equipped with 120 A/C outlets - 4 USB ports, four-port battery outlets, and has wifi/Bluetooth connectivity where you can control it through the EGO app. I also like how compact it is, so storing it away in the garage will be effortless. 

We’ve all been spoiled with this kind of technology, and I love it. No knock on gas-powered generators, but this is definitely a worthy alternative. 

If you want a quiet, powerful, tech-infused piece of machinery, this is it.
